Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time available through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.
The Main Attraction
The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers
Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
